- Skitty – Foundation X Promomix 08/2010 (48mins, 320kbps)
info: myspace.com/skittyjungle
Skitty with the second Foundation X promotional mix. Make sure you bag the first Foundation X 12″ out now aswell as the excellent, unfortunately digital only “Bad It Up EP” over at ithinkmusic.com and go check out the new bi-monthly Scientific Wax vs. Foundation X Events if you can. Get on this if you are into the good old ruff and dubby, Natty Dread, Jungle sound. Pure, one note, Gold.
Thanks to Gavin for this one, wholly diggin it.
Not sure why being digital only is “unfortunate”
As much as I would like “all wax all the time” , these days it’s not always possible with limited funds, well at least here in the states.
unfortunate for all vinyl lovers.
big up skitty,
regarding the ‘bad it up ep’ being digital only. Not enough people are buying vinyl these days, so it’s digital or nothing for certain releases unfortunately.
big up for the skitty mix! quite thoroughly enjoyed the first installment and will check this out for sure.
on another note: soul intent, please release rebel music soon! that tune is sick!
boh!
finally listening to this mix. this is true jungle, dub, rasta, dnb or whatever you wanna call it… big up the one like skitty! i am seriously feeling these sounds!
@Tim
yea yea, long live vinyl! I only wish it was more plentiful and cost-effective, or at least in the states!!
Bad bwoy streetbeats.
Big up Skitty every time.

controversial video interview up now ;)
“Minimal guys: go and open an art gallery. We’ll do the raves.”
quote of the day for sure :)

Second!
“Minimal guys: go and open an art gallery. We’ll do the raves.”
But earlier in the vid he quoted someone who is signed to being quite ‘minimally’
hhahah nice mix but at least think before you talk man
‘
@ brussel.
a very point well made.
…but I know what he meant. he even said he’s not UBER crazy about ‘all’ amens either. it’s just that ol concern with the elements of jungle fading from scene’s forefront,
I dunno..are most Top DJ sets ‘style-segregated’ these days? or are there cats who do try to blend a real ‘edits’ jungle session every now & then into minimal or the rock-like dnb they promote.
