Ivy Lab – Rise Up Mix #013 presented by Trap Magazine 11/2013

info: trapmagazine.co.uk, soundcloud.com/ivylab, criticalmusic.com

Rise Up 013 comes courtesy of Ivy Lab – the trio of producers known individually as Sabre, Stray and Halogenix signed to the mighty Critical Music imprint. This mix proves one thing – Drum & Bass is back, ready to stamp its authority on the UK underground again after retreating to the shadows to let the house-music wave roll on by. []

Bold statement by TRAP Magazine … Check out this entertaining mixtape by a collective established by some of our favourire artists. It feels a bit like a snippet mix with quick switchups and lots of different flavours/influences in the beginning featuring genre-hybrids and a couple of real gems. The second half of the mix is more Drum and Bass focussed with many high quality contemporary tunes.
