  21. Goldie must have been brushing up his mixing skills, I’ve heard a few horrible sets from him 93 – 98, trainwrecks galore… Had’nt heard him since then, until last year in cambridge on Warnings birthday bash, where he blew the roof off, I was fully ready to hate but ended up eating my words ;)

  28. Notice how Grooverider and Goldie talk about the way things are looking in the Dn’B sence. Yeah there a part in this broadcast where Grooverider asks Goldie on what he thinks is effecting the music coming out today by new artists.

    In my opinion this is whats happing with the mainstream. Theres just too much non-finished tracks that are being put out there without the right depth in sound

    I don’t know???

    But i thought this mix was well put and Grooverider and Goldie are very good friends and partners together!!!!

    Goldie/Rufige Kru/Internal Affairs/Metalheads is part of my heritage, my culture and my youth! Still a big part of my life too.

    Grooverider was once a hero(go back at least 10 years!)… but has long since disappeared up his own backside in my opinion. He sounds more like Westwood now than he did back in the Kissfm days. Inta!!

Grooverider is a complete twat who insists on rambling on about bullshit, mainly about himself.. and he cuts the music out in bursts which means u cant listen to this shit on a loud system.

    This is why breaksblog is so fuckin good, cos u get quality mixes from around the world and u dont have to listen to egotistical loudmouth cunts like Grooverider – FUCK THE BBC.

  43. I cant get my head round it all personally. Heres the BBC putting on a d&b show for the fans, of which there are many, and yet they feel the need to have a arrogant, loudmouth prick shouting over the entire show, constantly bigging himself up and showing off his general bad attitude. Not all drum&bass listeners and DJs are rudebwoy gangstaz ya know. This is more true now than ever before with the whol world listening to this once mainly british music. I sent an email to BBC explaining this is a fairly civilized manner, but of course I recieved no reply. They just expect u to pay the licence fee and bend over. The arrogance is totally apparent that they think they are so fucking good at what they do and we should all be thankfull. This is proven by the constant BBC and Grooverider jingles that play every few fucking seconds on the show. WELL FUCK GROOVERIDER. His voice makes m so angry Im not even tempted to listen to the shows anymore.. Bailey on 1Xtra is good, Flight is ok but she talks too much. anyways I hope grooverider contracts some kind of disease very soon that renders him unable to speak.

  45. I really doubt Grooverider could care less. He has always been like this and will always be “the Great Groovrider”. As for the ceaseless self-promotion and all that it gets annoying but not nearly as annoying as the triple rewinds.. Most of us are listening to the recording and we can rewind it ourselves..
