  2. 16. Hydro & Naibu – Night Sky – Unknown
    17. Oak – Chizra – Kosmos Music

    brilliant. So deep.

  3. Love the show.

the intro -‘bore a daughter so potent ‘etc is a massive ball of cheese tho. what is it with dnb jingles and intros? fabios are always rubbish too. sorry!

    wikid tunes

  4. @DT

I know what you mean. I think Grooverider’s suit him but most of the time they get it completely wrong !

Is it controversial to say that Instrumental’s spaced out tracks only sound good to those who don’t listen to much other music outside of drum and bass?? I own some of their music but the tracks that keep popping up at the moment are sounding a bit the same.

I’ve stuck my neck out and I’m waiting for the chop. Please, somebody convince me otherwise…

  5. Agreed with A filter, we need some new producers to think outside of the box thats already outside of the box!!! Minimal was considered thinking outside the box a year ago… we need a fresh approach to this side of dnb.. all sounding very similar..

I hope im not too outside the box saying that!!

    hahaha

  6. Instra:mental’s recent batch of tunes are definitely sounding very much the same. But I think that’s how it works as an artist — you get a vibe/sound going and you kinda tweak it a bit here & there on different tracks, exploring the potential of the sound/idea, then you unleash them on the public.
When they finally move on/evolve their sound, their next batch of tunes will probably sound very different from their current batch but very similar to each other — if you know what I mean. lol

That being said, I still like what they’re doing. Definitely pushing things along.

  7. And i nearly missed this…. boy there are some quality tracks in here.

Zero T & Mosus – Monarch has a touch of the Shadow Boxing about it – no bad thing at all

  8. Incredible set… It so like Flight! So deep and soulful.
Very glad to hear that she is back. Hope to hear those wonderful interwies that she is doing so well)
