  1. yeh the mp3 you posted is 64k mono. we doubled the channels on this one, hence it sounds a little bit better now ;)

  2. i am not feeling any of these tunes., it is to hard and raving for me.
alien girl was nice to hear though…. bring the funk not the danger!!!

  3. love dsl.. he is awesome and doesnt get the respect he deserves in the UK and abroad.. american DNB is coming up!!!!!!1

  4. Heavy duty business all the way, tracklisting does it justice… Rage is ok, don’t go overkill with the lyrics, so is a nice accompliment. America represent! Bo! Had the pleasure to see Dieselboy in Brighton when I was living there, smashed it up with Mc Armani (an american mc if I remember correctly, used to roll with Dj Craze when he 1st started Dj’nig d&b in England). Nice to see nothing has changed :)

  5. who is mrQuito? seems like he is the big critic.. maybe i should send some trax of mine to him.. then i will know if they are good or not…keep up the constructive criticism i want to check out your stuff(MrQuito).. u gotta link?

  6. sorry but this mix is ill… big ups the stateside collective… good thing about this mix is messinian doesnt chat all over this mix, and his voice (mic) isn’t that loud. no trainwrecks on this mix.

  7. Track 14 onwards is pretty good but the rest is shite. TC and Limewax are truely terrible (especially TC – some kind of shit dillinja clone) WACK!

  8. Heavy mix, nice to see a Fabric set for once! has anyone out there got any other sets from that True Playaz night to upload????!!!

  9. fabric sucks. the place is too big and i have heard even the top djs dont like playing there. tis all about the benjamins.

  10. another set from that night:

warning! annoying delay on the mic :(

  11. hows that criticism? It was a straight big up FORENSIC u idiot! Ain’t got a link! Unfortunately…

  12. Been checking the other pages FORENSIC seems been on my case… So, i never proclaimed to be a critic, just voicing my opinion like everyone else… Check Army Of Darkness’ comments out on the Implex page! He sums it up withou me having to say anything… Why the bad vibes? :(

  13. whats cool about dieselboy is that he comes out and works; venue doesnt matter…my first big big party dieselboy was there- bassrush ’95 in western md… alot of folks hate on him, but he’s massive does his job.

  14. ^Totally agree. Dunt understand why ppl hate DSL. or is this just a misconception! he’s a TOP Dj. Mixes a variety of tunes to perfection. Hard as nails most of the time. Like u said Baltimore Dank he ‘does his job’. nuff said

  15. allravedout – ‘fabric sucks’?????????? WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!!!!
Fabric is awesome…. All those who love Fabric … BOH!!!

  16. Fabric is a proper nice club… but gets way too packed!! You cant even dance in there sometimes. The end is my fav club by far.

  17. Fabric is a proper nice club… but gets way too packed!! You cant even dance in there sometimes. The end is my fav club by far.

  18. Big up Cream! The Andy C is fucking excellent… Allthough the past few times i’ve heard him theres been a few trainwrecks, you can’t be a 100% all the time when your dropping it that heavy, with tunes that fresh… Still my favourite DJ of all time ;)

  19. Well dispite Andy C being a Symbol of the Old Skool “Jungle” which makes him the best.

I give this mix by Dieselboy…..a 4 out of 5

Even though i think Dieselboy could have got a better MC to performe.

    However………

I like the way Dieselboy comes in with a Dynamic Intro……..which was truely original. Even though some of the selections he had in this mix wasn’t really my type of sound. (hint Techno)

    But all in all……

I know for a fact that “Detroits Dieselboy” IS THE NUMBER ONE DN’B DJ IN AMERICA……..

AND HE MAKES IT QUITE KNOWN IN THIS MIX……….

Big Up to the real “Junglist” out there!!!!!!

    Big up to Dieselboy!!!!!!!

  20. i was there, DSL was amazing!

yes fabric gets too packed and its not as good atmosphere as the end, but we’re not at these clubs, we’re listening from our PCs, so who cares!!!!

  21. didnt know he was out in detroit like that(he used to be pittsburgh i thot)….i know detroit has that big party every year….

  22. Very true Boom Selector this is a very good mix, like you say 4 out of 5… If you wanna waste your life, going from page-to-page trying to belittle my shit though… Be my guest! I actually have a life outside the internet…

  23. Well Mr. Quito I have a life outside the internet too…….!!!!

Like digging in old vinly crates and shit………OH and making fucking music too!!!

yeah i heard your comments on the ello posts……….*like I give a shit???*

    Aslo Baltimore????

Dieselboy been in Detroit scene for quite sometime now. Him and DJ Soul Singler have been known to rock Motown wherehouses.

If you didn’t know let me remind you, Detroit is the Capital of “Techno Music”

    but thats another story………..

  24. Shit heaps of mad miss directed anger and impulsive interpretations not to mention mutha fuckers who cant even spell who want to be their opinion to be taken seriously.

Since when did this place become such a stupidly uncommunicative macho “Im mo’ old skool than thou” chauv cock fest?

Who gives a fuck if you dont like what someone else is bigging up?

What the fuck are you doing here leaving a reply after downloading a mix from a dj you should know by now you dont like?

If you dont like it keep it to yourself and play your own game instead of pretending to be critical when all ya’ll bitin’ snappin’ haters seem to be doing is just tryin’ to attract attention ’cause you aint got no game.

Some of ya’ll aint even making sense with what you are trying to say and some of you are WAY TOO SENSITIVE.

Its the internet – its not that important.

Track number 9 is “Ghobi Ghost” and its by Teknik & The Upbeats.

Just making sure the tracks authors get their recognition!

    Peace Respect.

  25. bassrush ’96, had to think about it, boonstown=P

    and boom??

i know detroit home to “house”

  26. detroit is the birth place of techno “juan atkins” chicago is the birth place of house music “the warehouse club late eighties” dieselboy back in the day was hailing from philly though he could’ve moved to detroit

  27. I’ve been reading some of the post that has been put up in while and heres what i have to say……..

To Silence…………WHY DON’T YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!

ME AND Mr.Quito in fact are not the same person……….

Where are two different people with two different Thoerys…………

    He’s from Baltimore…………..And I Reprazent “Cali”

So get your shit straight………!!!!!!! If Mr.Quito was in fact here to comment he would totaly disagree with your wack ass statements…….

And as far as me………I can make as many fucking “essays” that i want to fucking make……..But at this current time, i don’t care to explain shit out if people don’t want to hear it!!!!!!

So why don’t you drop the bullshit……….dawg!!!!!

Also “Coexist” is right…………….”Detroit” is in fact the birthplace of “Techno Music” and “Chicago” is the birthplace of “House Music”.

From what i understand “Dieselboy” does rep the City of Detroit, he has been apart of Detroits sence for many years. Not many people know that for a fact, but i’m one of the few who actually looked the shit up!!!!!

If you don’t believe me then………..why don’t you look up “DJ Soul Slinger” on the internet and see for your self.

    OTHERWISE……….

THIS IS A WEST COAST CONNECTION…………”MOTHA FUCKA” @ *Silence*

  28. i get chicago and detroit mixed up^^ all that midwest looks alike to me….and keep ranting on, it’s all good, we all share the same luv

  29. Boom Selector take your piss poor Westwood style bullshit elsewhere. you sound like an MTV cliche. just fuck off and go listen to Jah Rule or whatever u ‘gangstaz’ listen too, and leave the drum & bass to the real people ok. wanker!

  30. Dieselboy is from (and resides in PHILLY) Man, this isn’t the only topic where Boom Selector starts shit. Do ya homework, son! Check ya stats before ya run ya trap!

  31. dude, i knew he was from somewhere in PA, i’ve grown up listening to diesel boy and remember seeing him with some pa label…611?

  32. Dieselboy is from Pennsylvania. He was born in pittsburgh where he held residence and was a founding member of (steel city jungle), moved to philadelphia in 1997 where he ended up being resident for (Platinum) and now resides in New York; never once has he lived in Detroit. I think you (boom selector) need to look a bit deeper before you start running off at the mouth about shit you have no idea about
and by the way california is a shit hole.
    Thank you, drive through

  33. This set is great. But… i want to download this song : Fresh – Hellrazor, where i can find this song ? Some1 tell me pls :p

  34. Morning is right – Dieselboy is from Pittsburgh. He actually used to spin at the radio station I spin at, WRCT. I’ve seen Dieselboy a couple times as he does come back to visit friends in Pitt. His sets are always hard and always a must see. This is a great set and if you get the chance, check him out.

  35. Somebody please tell me ya’ll are done being stupid about this. DSL is a PA native. While I’m sure he may have had his share of gigs in Detroit, nope, not from there. I’ve seen Damian several times over the years – from supporting his 97 octane mix to his all familiar POTD tours with AK and Dara (and oh yeah, the Messinian) – wot I want to know though is wtf Boom got his info. You know, because the Internet is so factual…
