- D-Bridge & Commix B2B feat SP:MC @ Cable 08/05/2010 | mirror (VBR, 93mins)
info: wefearsilence.com
The A Bunch of Cuts crew step up and go toe to toe with Goldie’s Metalheadz. All out back to back sets all night long from some of the finest names on the Drum & Bass scene. Stick Goldie, Marcus Intalex, D Bridge, Commix, Krust & Die in a pot, add a sprinkling of Apple Pips and shake vigorously. Could you seriously ask for more? Check this…
Heavyweight, reduced to the max selection and a more than a couple of classics thrown in. Recorded live @ Cable last month – last set of the night from the sounds of it.
damn! i need to move to london!
track @ 13th min is magic
minimalistic
already heard on last doc scott set
looks like som dbridge stuff, sbdy got the name ?
just a kick a mini snare and a moving sub,, hudge !
Have to say this is the most disapointing set i have downloaded so far this year. I exspected more from these guy’s not impressed at all the set has no flow to it.
insert “you must have been there to understand” here … last set of the night, basically just a bunch of proper heads gathering and playing new tunes and forgotten gems to each other – having it :)

i am SO FUCKING SICK AND TIRED OF motherfucking MCs talking BULLSHIT, not singing, not doing ANYthing on the mic when there’s (honestly?) some really good music going on …
maybe Stamina MC’s ok because he actually sings as well … but GOD DAMN, people … i don’t go to parties to listen to someone else’s VOICE OVER THE MUSIC!
it’s fucking drum and bass! not drum and bass and a shitty mc!!!!!

+1
Until the dj’s themselves actually give some push back to the shitty MC’s we’ll have to continue to hear this rubbish, but this is another thread somewhere else.
tune at 23 minutes is disgusting! woahhhhhhhhh
Nice!
Standouts for me:
4. [10:20] Marcus Intalex – Steady
(doin it in that detroit techno-dnb way)
7. [17:13] UNKNOWN
(kind of reminded me of JMJ & Richie – Hall of Mirrors/Case Closed vibe, but minimal, very cool.
seriously. pot the mc’s mic down or better yet off when recording your mixes.
